Happy New Year!!

for giving hope to local families, women, and children in need this season and throughout the year. Whether you gave your time or talents, donated items or made financial contributions in 2016, you helped brighten the lives of kids like Sienna and Colton who spent the last couple of winter months at Pear Blossom Place, our family homeless shelter (one of the many family support programs we offer). Because of friends like YOU, they spent the holidays in their very own home, with full tummies, warm coats, holiday toys, and most importantly, safety, peace, and love. Their mom feels stronger, more confident, and hopeful about the future with the ongoing support of her Family Support Center advocate. She is healthy, healing and ready to start the New Year with a new job when the kids head back to school ready to learn and play with their friends again. She knows that if one of those unexpected hardships in life strikes again, the Family Support Center is THE place to go for help.

For a lot of us this is a time of celebration and exciting possibilities for the New Year ahead, while for many struggling families in our community, it is their time of greatest need. It's not too late for you to help your friends, family, and neighbors by giving to a local nonprofit organization.

Please help us to continue to work together with our partners to strengthen ALL families. With your support, we can end family violence, poverty, and homelessness. Your year-end gift to the Family Support Center of South Sound will make 2017 a year of health, safety, and HOPE for thousands more families and children. Click here to give HOPE now.

Wishing you and your family a bright, warm, and happy New Year from all of us at the Family Support Center!
