Family Support Center offers limited internships for the school year with the opportunity to participate in our agency in various ways. Interns will work with vulnerable populations and gain an understanding of the nonprofit field. We serve families experiencing homelessness and survivors of domestic violence, if you are a student who is passionate about serving this community, we encourage you to apply!
How to Apply
Fill out the Internship Inquiry Form below. Once you do, our Volunteer & Intern Coordinator will reach out to you to schedule an initial meeting to talk about your internship requirements and interests. After this coversation, be prepared to fill out an application, send a cover letter and resume.
Requirements
- You must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at the time of internship to be eligible.
- FSC has limited capacity for interns; therefore, students who commit to a full school year are given priority.
- Interns are expected to complete 6-10 hours in office per week for at least 10 weeks. Remote work is limited and all FSC internships are unpaid.
What We Look For
- We are seeking interns who are detail-oriented and ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
- You must have proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
- Bilingual and/or lived-experience is a bonus!
