Our donation-based Resource Station provides essential items to any family and survivor that walks through our doors and it cannot continue without your support! Below are items we need and accept. We also have an Amazon Wish List that makes it easy for you to send items directly to us!
Donations can be dropped off at our reception office (located on the 2nd floor) at 3545 7th Ave SW Ste 200, Olympia, WA 98502. We accept donations until 15 minutes before closing. We're open Monday-Thursday 9:00am-5:00pm and Friday 9:00am-2:00pm.
High Need Items
- Diapers (All sizes, but especially 4, 5, 6 and pull-ups)
- Baby wipes
- Shampoo
- Conditioner
- Bodywash
- Deodorant
- Menstraul products (pads and tampons)
- Toothbrushes
- Toothpaste
- Floss
- Toilet paper
- Paper towels
- Cleaning supplies (All-purpose cleaner preferred)
Warming Center Needs
- Non-perishable snacks (peanut butter, jelly, jerky, bars, etc.)
- Cup of noodles, soups, oatmeal and other microwavable meals
- Disposable items: Plates, bowls, utensils, coffee cups with lids
- Canned foods (veggies, fruit, beans, etc.) and can openers
- Coffee, creamer, and sugar
- Apple cider, tea, and cocoa packets
- Bottled water
- Individually wrapped candy (mini chocolates, lollipops, etc.)
- Gift cards to grocery & shopping centers (like Fred Meyer, Walmart, Safeway, etc.)
- Emergency blankets
- Reusable, brown paper, or plastic shopping bags
- Gallon and quart size ziploc bags
- Blue painters tape & rubber bands
- Pens
Wearables
- Outerwear: jackets, coats, hoodies, sweaters
- New undergarments: underwear, socks, bras
Shelter Needs
- Emergency blankets
- Sleeping bags
- Tarps
- Hand, feet, and lap warmers
- Ponchos
- Flashlights and AA & AAA batteries
Household Items
- Tableware: Plates, bowls, cups, spoons, forks, cutlery
- Kitchen: Pots, pans, cooking utensils, baking sheets, measuring cups, can openers
- Bedding: Sheets, blankets, mattress covers, new pillows
- Towels: Bath, hand, dishes
- Laundry: Detergent, fabric softener, plastic hampers
- Cleaning: Garbage bags, sponges, dish soap, hand soap, all-purpose cleaning spray and wipes, brooms with dust pans, mops
Items We Do NOT Accept
- Clothing (except outerwear, professional, and maternity)
- Used undergarments (bras, underwear, socks)
- Stuffed animals and used pillows
- Medications (including over the counter)
We are limited in the large items we can accept at our office due to space capacity. If you would like to donate items like furniture, bed frames, mattresses, cribs, etc. please send email communications to coordinate your donation donation! Contact Maija at maijag@fscss.org.

If we are unable to accept donations, we encourage you to donate to other organizations that also support our community! Their needs may change/vary, please contact them before donating.
